There isn't anything I can add to the Anti-SOPA movement besides having BSR be a supporter of it. If you want to learn more (and we suggest you do), take a look at the EFF website at https://www.eff.org/ |

Both the studio and the BSR website (hosted by Google) are running IPv6 just in time for World IPv6 day!
THE FUTURE IS NOW AND IT IS 128-BITS LONG BABY!

It is not too late to jump on the bandwidth... erm bandwagon! See http://www.worldipv6day.org/ for basic information AND http://www.he.net/ for free IPv6 tunnel services. |

For reasons beyond our control, Bomb Shelter Radio now has a tumbr site. Right now it is intended as a funnel for Twitter, Web Site Announcements and Mailing List Posts. We will see if it is useful (or not). You can find it at http://bomb-shelter-radio.tumblr.com/ |

We are still broadcasting every Thursday.
BSR is looking to confer with an expert on Jabber, specifically one with experience on MUC. We would like to abandon our AIM-based chatroom by the end of 2011, but we continue to have problems getting the same functionality out of Jabber. Do you know someone who could help us? Drop us e-mail at ILLYA AT BOMB-SHELTER-RADIO.COM. This could become a short-term PAYING gig for the right person with the right skills.

We now have a page that answers some questions about the BSR Meetup that will happen later this year. Take a look at http://www.bomb-shelter-radio.com/codename-p-b-w---the-2011-bsr-meetup and start planning to be there!
And yes, we are still doing shows. In fact, we are doing one tonight. I hope you will join us for the show and the meet up!
Peace, Illya |

In August we announced a schedule change where we went from one 4+ hour show a week to two 3 hour shows a week.
Well, reality never lived up to the schedule. There were Tuesday shows, but scheduling conflicts kept cropping up which made cancellations more the rule than the exception.
So, tonight (11-30-2010) will be the last scheduled Tuesday show for the moment.
Having said that, we will officially beef up the Thursday shows:
BSR w/Illya Kuryakin - Thursdays 6PM to 10PM (US/Eastern) BSR Automatic Pilot - 10PM to 12:30AM (US/Eastern)
All times are approximate.
Thanks for listening! Illya

I just sent out a message on the BSR Announcements list concerning the Rally To Restore Sanity.
WHAT? You aren't on the announcements list?
Well, you should check out https://groups.google.com/a/bomb-shelter-radio.com/group/bsr-announce/topics to find out what I said and sign up today!

Today begins the first full week of the new schedule. Two shows a week, running from 6PM to 9PM. This will take a little getting used to on my part. During the early days of WKOL, I was doing multiple shows a week on a semi-random schedule. However, that was (oh my freaking ghod) five years ago. So what is old will be new again... for the listeners and I.
If you have any comments (positive or negative) feel free to let me know by sending mail to illya@bomb-shelter-radio.com or by calling the voicemail box at +1 (209) 266-2001.
I hope you will tune in!
Cheers, Illya
